Locations

The Locations Module stores all physical addresses and operational settings used for route planning, trailer pooling, dwell time calculation, and activity tagging. It serves as the primary source for defining how each facility operates, what it supports, and how it behaves in optimization.

Key Use Cases

  • Define operational rules for customer or network facilities

  • Set handling times, trailer requirements, and operating hours

  • Enable specific activities like Trailer Pool, Meet & Turn, or Driver Domicile

  • Tag zones and assign location types to support optimization logic

  • Reference geo-coordinates for map-based routing

Navigation Overview

Access the module via Resources > Locations or the locations hyperlink in any Load/Trip Grid or Panel.

Use filters such as State, Support Activities, Type, or Zone to narrow the list.

Each row represents one unique location used across loads, trips, and dispatching.
