Customer Rate Matrix Module

The Customer Rate Matrix defines contracted pricing agreements between your company and individual customers (shippers). These rates are used by the optimization engine to determine revenue projections, enforce load commitments, and evaluate profitability during load planning and dispatch. Each customer may have one or more rate entries based on lanes, zip codes, or mileage-based rules.

Key Use Cases

  • Maintain contract rates for each customer by lane or zip code

  • Define per-load flat rate or tiered pricing for FTL/Partial loads

  • Track expiration dates and load volume commitments

  • Guide load selection based on minimum revenue thresholds

  • Inform dispatch and planning logic using contractual rules

Navigation Overview

Access the module from Resources > Rate.

The toggles in the header indicate Customer Rates (Left) or Carrier Rates (Right).

Each row in the Rate Matrix represents a pricing agreement with a customer.

You can filter by Active, Rate Method, Company Name, or Expiration Date.
